How To Avoid Sunburn During Summer Days?

The Heat Is On!!

Hey Guys! Today, I'm going to share you guys on skincare tips during summer time. I live in a country where the sun can shine all day, everyday! The sun can be cruel to your complexion. Do you know how to keep cool and save your skin to avoid sunburn? Read on for more...

Wear protection

  - It might be impractical to go around with long sleeves and pants all the time, but you can use an umbrella when walking under the sun, just like what i do everyday. It can protect you 50% from the sun. Also, you can wear a hat and put on sunglasses to avoid extra glare.

  Seek shade

- The sun's UV rays are strongest between 10am and 4pm. So, be careful near water, snow and sand because all three can reflect the sun's rays and increase your change of getting sunburn.

  Apply sunscreen

- There are two types of rays: UVA and UVB. SPF indicates UVB protection while PA indicates UVA protection. Both factors are important to avoid sun damage.

- Sunscreen should be applied on all exposed skin. An SPF of at least 15 is the best! Apply it on your lips, ears, feet, hands, under accessories and neck. Remember to reapply your sunscreen every two hours when u are in outdoors, after swimming or sweating even your sunscreen are waterproof.

- Apply your sunscreen on 30 minutes before going outdoors. This allows the sunscreen have enough time to be absorbed into your skin and offer you an ultimate protection.

- When you used the right way, an SPF15 sunscreen protects you from 93% of UVB rays while SPF30 will protect you from 97% of UVB radiation. SPF30 sunscreen product is actually enough for you to apply for outdoor activities while SPF15 is enough for daily use.
